Does everybody has a devil inside?

If every living thing has a soul why do people eat animals also I'm a vegetarian. If living thing eat other living things what would you call them If you're a Christian or any other type of culture that thinks animals such as cow pig buffalo and other animals don't have a soul maybe youre the devil
