How to make a guy turn his attention to me?

There's one guy i kind of like and i would like to make him see me. He saw me several times at school but i guess i didn't attract him so what can i do or wear to make him turn his attention to me? I don't want to sound conceited but i know if he turns his attention to me he would like me. Also, he is a friend of my best friend's boyfriend.
